Okay, there's probably a whole lot of warnings being spread out through text messages right about now about radiation hitting the Philippines and other nearby Asian countries. Being curious, I went to the BBC website to check up on the facts.
"A plume trajectory study from the Fukushima site by the World Meteorological Organization based in Melbourne, Australia showed that the plume from the site of the incident will not pass the Philippine territory as of March 14, 2011" - Philippine Nuclear Research Institute
So there you have it. If the people of Philippine say there's nothing to worry about, then we don't really have anything to worry about. If you're all really interested about the nuclear power plant situation, get your information from BBC and not your text messages cause there's alot of crazy rumors going around like "the creator of Naruto and Pokemon died".
